Historic Milestones
- 2007 - Following acquisition of ANC EXPRESS by FedEx, the world's largest express transport company, Wyvern Cargo becomes its international service partner for Dorset and West Hampshire.
- 2006 - Launch of Wyvern Easyfast document archiving system.
- 2003 - Company joins Linq Alliance as a founder member.
- 2003 - Company moves into its new, state-of-the-art Poole headquarters. Wyvern logo and vehicle livery redesigned.
- 2002 - 3.5 acres of land acquired at Tower Park to consolidate Poole operations on one site.
- 2001 - Company joins the Fortec Pallet distribution network.
- 2000 - 25th anniversary celebrated with a party for clients, staff and friends on HMS Warrior, Portsmouth.
- 1999 - Midland Distribution Centre established in Rushden, Northamptonshire on a 3.5 acre site.
- 1993 - Company acquires a second site in Poole to cater for significant growth of the haulage division. Company achieves BS5750 (now ISO 9001) accreditation.
- 1983 - Company name changed to Wyvern Cargo Ltd.
- 1981 - Company secures the ANC EXPRESS franchise for Dorset and West Hampshire.
- 1980 - Haulage operation starts in earnest. First vehicle operated.
- 1976 - Company moves to 20,000 sq ft warehouse in Cranbrook Road, Poole.
- 1975 - Dorset Star Warehouse established to provide industrial warehousing and freight forwarding services in Poole.
