The customer wanted a more reliable and geographically convenient location to store and distribute their equipment from and Wyvern Cargo’s fulfilment service in Dorset was chosen as the preferred partner.
Secure Storage
The customer required secure storage for electronic items and order fulfilment from Dorset to B2B and B2C delivery points, as well as factory supply for component parts. Taking advantage of Wyvern Cargo’s state of the art Warehouse Management System (WMS) the customer uploads orders from their ERP system direct for Wyvern Cargo to pick, despatch and deliver from their warehousing.
Courier Integrations
Wyvern Cargo’s Fulfilment WMS enables the use of the customer’s own shipping accounts with couriers around the world. DPD are the preferred parcel carrier and Wyvern ship through the customer’s own account to reduce shipping costs. DHL, TNT, FedEx and more are all directly linked through the WMS meaning more accurate data every time.
Parcels and Pallets
Larger orders are shipped via Wyvern Cargo’s own Pallet Network operation. As the Dorset and Hampshire member of Palletforce the Wyvern Cargo fulfilment service offers a later call off time than the previous supplier, as goods can ship direct until late into the evening. This enables the customer to invoice quicker with efficient and economic delivery from Dorset to the UK, Europe and beyond with minimal fuss.
Measured Fulfilment Performance
Wyvern Cargo’s Dorset fulfilment service has maintained a 100% order fulfilment KPI for the customer across the first 12 months. Despite inheriting a poor stock record from the previous supplier Wyvern have worked with the customer to increase stock accuracy between the two systems.
